APOLLO CONSTRUCTION & RENOVATION

Does homeowners insurance cover water damage?

A short guide to help prepare your questions. Your insurer determines coverage.

The short answer

The source of the water matters. Sudden damage from a burst pipe is generally treated differently from flooding or seepage. Sewer backup may require an added endorsement. Your policy sets the limits and exclusions; ask your insurer to confirm coverage. Apollo can discuss the damage and repair scope, but does not decide your claim.
